ABOUT SOFIA

Morgan Davis (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist who merges her work in photography, fashion, graphic design, and community engagement to explore identity and belonging through the lens of Black queerness.

Her creative practice began at 17 with a plus-size fashion blog and clothing line. After earning her BFA in Design from Howard University, from 2015-2020, she ran Distinctly Creative, a DMV-based initiative supporting Black creatives through retail and curated events.

In 2020, she initially launched Morganeliz as a size-inclusive cut-and-sew fashion label, which has since evolved into a multidisciplinary visual storytelling studio that celebrates Black queer life.
